Frequently Asked Questions
Treatment
How do I find out if I am a candidate?
Dental implant treatment is complex and should be tailored to you, as an individual. Because we believe that medical treatments are not one size fits all, we offer a complimentary consultation to visit with us in person. This allows you to find out all treatment options you are a candidate for, review personalized pricing and financing, and meet our team. Call, email, or text us today to get set up.
What if I was told I am not a candidate for dental implants?
Dr. Mencini has trained extensively in offering dental implant treatments for complex cases, including working with areas of limited bone. We have helped many patients who have previously been told they cannot have implants or have to have zygomatic (cheek bone) implants. Schedule a risk free consultation today to discuss the possibilities of advanced dental implant treatments offered at Restore.
I have been to so many consultations, what sets Restore apart?
Dr. Mencini built Restore in order to give patients a comfortable, customized dental implant experience. In a sea of corporate chains, we are committed to remaining privately owned and operated. This allows us to have complete control over your treatment and experience and allows us to tailor the dental experience to you, the patient. We believe in providing the highest quality care and service to our patients, without compromising. At Restore, you will experience dental implants differently. Come see why our patients rave about their experiences with us, schedule a complimentary consultation today.
How many implants do you use? What is the difference between All on 4 and All on 6?
We don't have a one size fits all philosophy when it comes to your dental implant needs. Some people need more or less implants depending on their jaw bone and the final determination is always made during your procedure. Don't be fooled by thinking more is always better! You will receive anywhere from 4-6 dental implants per row of teeth for the All on 4 procedure, based on bone quality, how much bone is available, and your specific jaw structure. The number of implants used will not be factored into your cost so there will be no surprises after surgery if you needed additional implants! We will give you one all inclusive price that includes as many implants as your body needs to set you up for optimal success, at your complimentary consultation.
The phrase "All on 4" has become like "kleenex" is to tissues. Just because someone uses the phrase All on 4, does not necessarily mean only 4 implants will be used. It is just the most common way to refer to the procedure of replacing a full row of teeth with a non-removable implant bridge.
Do you offer sedation?
Yes! We want you to be as comfortable as possible during your procedure. We offer a range of sedation options, tailored to your health and comfort levels. You may also opt to not have any sedation, if you choose. Regardless of sedation options, your mouth will be numbed up for your procedure to ensure a comfortable experience.
Cost
How much does this cost?
We know dental implants are an investment and while cost should certainly not be the only consideration when choosing medical care, we know it is an important part of the equation.
We strive to provide the highest quality care, which means you won't find basement bargain prices here at Restore. We don't believe in cutting corners and slashing prices in order to pack in more patients.
What you will find is fair, competitive pricing designed with your budget in mind. We offer customized treatment so while we cannot give you an exact price without meeting you in person, we can give you an ballpark range for certain procedures.
Ballpark pricing: These ranges are to give you an idea of cost, not an exact figure. Your treatment plan may be slightly less or slightly more.
All on 4 : $13,000-$25,000 per arch (row of teeth). Monthly payments typically range from $300-1000 per month.
Snap In Dentures: Starting at $8,000 per arch.
Single Implants: Starting at $3,800 per tooth (includes implant, abutment, and crown)
Does insurance cover this?
Typically the types of dental implant treatments we offer are not covered by dental insurance. We want to be upfront and transparent, so we will let you know that while some insurance reimbursement is possible, it is not the norm. Most dental insurances have many exclusions and clauses that prevent more than approximately $1,000-$2,000 of coverage for dental implants, even if they say they "cover implants at 100%". When you come in for your consultation, we can review your specific circumstances together and help you get a better idea of what you can expect. Don't worry, we have many great financial options to help make this treatment achievable.
Do you offer financing options?
Of course! While we are committed to providing the highest quality care, we are also committed to helping as many patient's achieve this life changing treatment as possible.
We know dental implants are an investment so we have partnered with many different financing companies to help get you the care you need. Our financing options range from just a few months to up to 12 years.
What type of credit score do I need?
While health care financing relies on a few factors, an important one is often the borrower's credit score. Most of our lenders are able to work with credit scores of 600 and above. Many of our lenders allow the patient to have someone else borrow on their behalf.
Regardless of your financial situation, we are here to help. We would love to meet you in person and discuss how we can work together to get you the care you need. We never want our patient's feeling discouraged, we have all kinds of ways we can make your smile dreams a reality. Come meet us today for a free, no judgement, consultation to review your options with us.
After Care
What is recovery like?
Full mouth dental implants does come with some discomfort. We want to be up front with you and let you know what to expect. Typically, you should expect some moderate to mild discomfort for 3-4 days post-op and mild discomfort lasting up to 2-3 weeks post op. Not everyone bruises or swells from the procedure but it can happen. When bruising or swelling occurs, this will typically be gone by 2-3 weeks post op.
Most patient's report they are pleasantly surprised with the recovery and expected it to be much worse. Our goal is for your pain levels to be well controlled on over the counter medications and allow you to do most normal day to day activities within 24-72 hours. Most of our patient's take 2-3 days off of work to recover at home.
Do you offer final teeth right away?
Your new teeth are a big investment in your health and we want you to love them for many years into the future. At Restore, we believe that allowing your body time to heal and adapt before making your final set of teeth is typically best. This healing time allows us to give you the best fitting teeth along the gum line, allows time to fully assess the appearance of your new smile, and your bite. All of these are important factors in long term success of your implants so why rush it.
With that said, everyones treatment is customized. Meaning it is possible to get final zirconia teeth shortly after your procedure. These cases are best reserved for out of state patient's or other circumstances that would prevent you from returning to the office more frequently. We can discuss your treatment timeline in depth at your consultation, so you know exactly what to expect from day 1.
Do I get a say in what my teeth look like?
We believe in customized, tailored to you, treatment at Restore. We won't limit you to a pre-set menu of teeth! You will have opportunities throughout the process to discuss the appearance of your new smile and make changes, before committing to your final smile. We want you to love everything about your new teeth and have a smile you can be proud to show off!

At Restore, we believe zygomatic implants should be done only as a last resort option. If you have been told your only option is zygomatic implants, please reach out to us for a free second opinion.
